Originally from Central Africa, Dr. Tchamba grew up in Cameroon and early on developed an interest in tropical infections. Upon moving to the United States, she obtained a B.S. in Biology at Allen University in Columbia, SC and her M.D at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She returned to South Carolina for both Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Disease training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease and is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America as well as the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. She has been practicing medicine for the past 10 years; providing compassionate, cost-effective care and she looks forward to continuing to do the same in the Rock Hill area.

Dr. Tchamba's philosophy of care is rooted in partnering with her patients in order to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care by evaluating and treating the whole patient. She looks forward to establishing long lasting relationships based on trust, mutual respect and understanding of each of her patient's goals of care.

When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Tchamba enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, hiking and serving at her church.
